How to Commission A Portrait

1.) Please complete the form below.

2.) Upload .jpg image(s) of your dog using the form below.

3.) You can also mail photo(s) directly to my P.O. Box 351775, L.A. CA. 90035. Please make sure to indicate “do not bend” on the envelope.

4.) I will evaluate the photo(s) and get back with you regarding final image recommendations.

5.) Size and pricing are determined by the size and medium that you choose .

6.) A deposit of 50% is required at the time of commission.

7.) You will receive emails of the work in process with an opportunity for feedback. Images will also appear on the blog section of this website.

8.) Artwork can be framed for an additional cost prior to shipping.

9.) Balance is due prior to shipping. Customer pays all shipping costs

Framing Suggestions
All works on paper are Holbein oil pastels on Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper.
The image is masked out to create a hard edge on it’s outer perimeter.
I recommend that you use an 8 ply mat and float the image so that you can see the signature and get some breathing room around the piece.
The color of the mat should closely match the paper. Use a wood moulding for the frame.
I also recommend “UV” plexiglass instead of glass. It keeps them lighter and prevents damage from breakage.
The work looks striking and the colors soar.
